KEEPING PARALLEL SKIING MESSAGES OUT OF THE GMAIL SPAMFOLDER

I run a constant battle with the gmail spamfilter. Gmail regularly filters messages from Parallel Skiing into the spamfolder. So I am posting these instructions on the website where they can't be sent to the spamfolder.

Just because you have received an email from Parallel Skiing doesn't mean you will receive all the emails.

To make sure you receive all the emails, please follow these procedures.

ADDING PARALLEL SKIING TO YOUR CONTACT LIST

Here are the measures specific for gmail that you must take to be sure you receive all my messages:

Use Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome to log into your google account via the website www.google.com

(Gmail will not let Internet Explorer add to the contacts list. So dont try to use Internet Explorer for this.)

Next

Click the gmail icon in the upper left corner

Click contacts in the upper left corner

Then a red disc appears in the lower right corner. It looks like this:

Click this symbol and a dialogue box pops up

type in or copy-paste parallel_skiing@gmx.com into the dialogue box

on the dialogue box click [create]

another dialogue box pops up: Kontaktbearbeiten or Edit Contact

Optional: enter the name parallel skiing in the name box

IMPORTANT: click Speichern or Save

It will display your new contact if it was successful

Just in case: Check your spam folder regularaly. I always check mine.

FISHING PARALLEL SKIING EMAILS OUT OF YOUR SPAMFOLDER

Here's how to fish my emails out of your spam folder:

(This procedure also works with Internet Explorer)

You can find your spam folder when you log onto your email account via the website.

If you are already in Gmail Contacts click on the gmail tab at the top:

or reopen www.google.com with your browser

Click Gmail icon in the upper left corner

Click Mehr or More

Click [spam] in the upper left corner

If you find an email from parallel skiing in it, please click the check box next to it; then click the icon "no spam"  or "kein spam" at the top f the page This puts the message into your normal inbox but does not guarantee that you will start receiving my messages. For that you must add me to your contacts list

The next email you get from me may have 100 people or so in the blind copy address list and so is likely to be filtered into your spam folder if you don't take these precautions.
